      INGREDIENTS

      2 cups all-purpose flour
      1 tsp. salt
      3/4 cup shortening
      1/4 cup water

      Filling
      9 cups peeled, sliced Paula Red and Ginger Gold apples
      2 tsps. all-purpose flour
      1/4 tsp. apple pie spice

      Topping
      1 cup caramel apple dip
      3/4 cup all-purpose flour
      1/3 cup sugar
      1/2 tsp. cinnamon
      1/3 cup butter
      1/2 cup chopped walnuts
