COUNTRY-STYLE PORK CHOPS AND ONIONS
INGREDIENTS
4 thinly cut pork chops
Olive oil (to cover bottom of skillet)
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
1 crushed garlic clove
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. brown sugar
DIRECTIONS
In a large skillet, brown pork chops in just enough olive oil to cover bottom of skillet. Remove and set aside.
In same skillet, saute 2 medium onions, sliced lengthwise, and 1 crushed garlic clove until lightly browned.
Return chops to skillet. Add soy sauce, beef broth, ginger, and brown sugar.
Cover and cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes, or until chops are fork-tender.
Return chops to skillet. Serve topped with onions and skillet liquid.
