SHRIMP FETTUCCINE
         
        INGREDIENTS
        2 tablespoons butter or margarine
        2 pounds peeled, medium-size fresh shrimp
        1 (8-ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
        1 small red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
        1 small onion, chopped
        1 to 2 garlic cloves, pressed
        1/2 teaspoon salt
        1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
        8 ounces fettuccine, cooked
        1/2 cup whipping cream
        1/2 cup butter or margarine
        1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Parmesan cheese
        2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
        1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
         

        DIRECTIONS

        Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

        Add shrimp, mushrooms, and next 5 ingredients; cook, stirring constantly, until shrimp turn pink.

        Spoon into a large bowl, and toss with hot cooked fettuccine.

        Cook whipping cream and 1/2 cup butter in skillet over low heat until butter melts.

        Stir in cheese, parsley, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Pour over shrimp
