Southern Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon butter, melted

1 cup dark corn syrup

3 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup pecan pieces

1 pie shell

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

Beat together the sugar, syrup and melted butter.

Add the eggs and pecans.

Pour into the pie shell.

Place on cookie sheet and bake for approximately 45 minutes until firm in the middle.

Serves 6-8
